Sean Astin

Well known for his iconic role in the classic American football film Rudy, and as Samwise Gamgee from The Lord of the Rings trilogy, actor Sean Astin partnered with our company in 2015 to help him train and raise funds for his charity #Run3rd during the IRONMAN World Championships.

I worked with Sean, his publicist and manager through all stages of the sponsorship, from securing his endorsement, to consulting them on fundraising efforts, triathlon equipment and publicity around the event.

James Lawrence

James 'The Iron Cowboy' Lawrence reached legendary status within the triathlon world last year, when he completed what many said was completely impossible: 50 full-distance triathlons, over 50 days, through all 50 US states. More than 7,000 miles of continuous racing.

Not even knowing if he would actually complete his goal, I aligned our sponsorship of James and crafted a large media campaign around him. As he neared completion, I connected his various sponsors together to simultaneously make a PR & media storm. 

When James stepped across the finish line on June 6th, 2015, we published the first release on his extraordinary accomplishment, and received immediate national news pickup. James continues to be a key brand ambassador as he conquers more 'impossible' tasks.

Katherine Kelly Lang

Star of TV's The Bold and the Beautiful, Kelly Lang partnered with Rudy Project in 2014 to elevate her triathlon training and raise awareness around Women for Tri. She's become a key brand ambassador, and helped to open our newest concept store in Italy.

I introduced Kelly and her manager to our line of products, secured her endorsement, have consulted on fundraising, and generated content pieces together around her racing & celebrity lifestyle.

Apolo Ohno

Short Track Speed Skating legend, 8x Olympic medalist, and champion of Dancing with the Stars, Apolo Ohno joined forces with Rudy Project in 2014 for his journey to complete #MissionApolo and tackle the IRONMAN World Championships.

Having met with Apolo during IRONMAN Boulder, I secured his endorsement of Rudy Project equipment, and our sponsorship of him through #MissionApolo. His enthusiasm propelled our brand awareness during 2014, and our media relations furthered the reach of his video series on 'Built with Chocolate Milk' - Watch the videos here

Luca Parmitano

Italian engineer and ESA astronaut, Luca Parmitano has spent 166 days in space aboard the ISS, and became the first Italian to complete a spacewalk on July 9th, 2013. 

Luca began using Rudy Project equipment while training to compete in the 2014 IRONMAN World Championships with fellow astronaut Chris Cassidy. I worked directly with Luca to produce content pieces which were featured on IRONMAN.com - read one of them here

Two-time cancer survivor and climber of the Seven Summits, the highest mountains on each of the seven continents, Sean Swarner has become one of the world's most prolific inspirational speakers and endurance athletes.

Having worn Rudy Project equipment in the toughest climates on earth, we had the perfect angle to pitch media on and promote both Sean's latest goals, and his new online book series.

Yasiel Puig

Phenom right fielder of the LA Dodgers, Yasiel Puig partnered with Rudy Project while he rocketed into stardom during his rookie year. During his sponsorship, Puig became the first player in baseball history to simultaneously win both the National League Rookie of the Month and Player of the Month awards.

I worked with Puig's managers and our internal teams to launch multiple press releases on our partnership, which gained Rudy Project national media attention and introduced us to a new market in baseball.
